Adinkra Unity

The Adinkra symbols of Ghana West Africa are  a symbol language, originally used on cloth, to express certain social and spiritual beliefs. Africans in the diaspora have held these symbols as precious indications of their connection to the Motherland. Sankofa means  learning from the past to build the future. This hand pulled image was originally designed for greeting cards.
