Circuit Box in Greens and Golds

Having experienced the influx of technology in our world, I have always been both appreciative, of how much easier it has made many otherwise arduous tasks and awed by the engineering science behind it all. In this assemblage the insert, which resembles a circuit board, is created with jewelry beads, wires and copper overlays onto an original linocut. The lines and shapes of the painting are created with acrylics and mixed media. Here is not only a nod to the patterns that power the electronics of today but also to the abstract movement of 20th century.
