Having experienced the influx of technology in our world, I have always been both appreciative, of how much easier it has made many otherwise arduous tasks and awed by the engineering science behind it all. assemblage the lines and shapes in the painting and the jewel box not only reflect the patterns that power the electronics of today but are a nod to abstract artists like Mondrian whose geometric shapes and patterns were a key element in abstraction of the 20th century. The foundation of this assemblage is the acrylic painting which mimics a circuit board. The jewelry box accentuates the theme with a repetition of similar lines and shapes that have been enhanced acrylic paint, gold leaf, jewelry and electrical wires, and glass and polymer beads.
