Renaissance Woman

This serene and confident African woman was among those I photographed on a trip to Ghana, West Africa. She was to me reminiscent of the Renaissance women who posed for portraits of Leonardo DaVinci. And as Leonardo would have done, I chose render her in her familiar environment.
