Adinkra Sankofa/ Color

The Adinkra language of Ghana West Africa is a symbolic language, originally used on cloth, to express certain social and spiritual beliefs. This hand pulled, hand painted image is one of a series of unique impressions created from the block which was originally designed for greeting cards. This symbol means learning from the past to build the future.
